Honor America’s Fallen Heroes This Memorial Day
Chris sacrificed a leg for our country in Iraq and spent seven months in the hospital. But this Memorial Day, he’ll think of other Marines who gave life itself.
Today, I ask you to join with me in paying tribute to America’s fallen heroes, who sacrificed their lives in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other conflicts.
I hope you’ll send an e-card to 5 friends and family members and wish them a happy and safe Memorial Day.
It’s crucial to do all we can to honor and share the meaning of Memorial Day. People have forgotten that this national holiday is meant to honor our nation’s fallen heroes.
As I write, let me thank you for what you’ve done for Chris. At WWP skiing, water sports, and golf events, Chris learned “there’s a lot I can do - everything really. But it’s more than that! WWP gives you a sense that you’re not going through the process of dealing with your disability all by yourself. You’re not alone!”
You did this for Chris. And because you care, I count on you to help me create a new awareness of Memorial Day’s profound meaning as you send a Memorial Day e-card to your friends and family ... and as they forward it on to others.
Honoring America’s Fallen Heroes This Memorial Day,

I will never forget those who have sacrificed so much for our nation and for us. Neither will I think of each of them as a "number." While I may not know each of their names I think of them as men and women who faced danger full on and did it for our freedom. May the memory of each of them live on forever in the hearts of those who love, remember and miss them so.
